My sweet little angel got in the kiddie pool for the first time on Sunday, and wasn't all that crazy about the ice cold water!  But she was all about mowing the backyard.  The little man likes to vacuum and the little girl likes to mow.  Mama likes to do neither, so glad I have two kiddos to take care of this for me.  I knew they would be good for something!

 

 

I have a feeling I will be a basketball widow tonight, and probably the next week until the playoffs are over.  Go Mavs, see I can show some support for our home team!

Pretty much given up...

So I’m curious, how many times a day do you pickup your house?  Me, I know I have picked up after my two kids four or five times today.  So, as the day comes to a close, I have pretty much given up, and I’m just going to leave the mess where it is…  I’m tired of picking up Buzz, Woody, Jessie, George, Legos, play food, the list goes on, I think we have every toy known to man!  I wish I could get my little man to pickup after himself.  That would be oh so awesome!  He will vacuum, help me do laundry, feed the dogs and help with his sister, but he will not pickup after himself.  I have tried everything I can think of to try and get him to do it, and he just won’t.  Instead, he pulls the toys out as I’m putting them up, and pretty much laughs in my face while doing it.  Yeah, that makes me a little you know irritable, and I start to become a little impatient after the third time of doing this.  I would love to hear what tricks you use to get your kiddos to clean up after themselves.  Or, is this just wishful thinking on my part!?!

Speaking of little man, I don’t think he feels too good.  We

 are curled up on the couch watching George.  I think we are

 about to call it a night.  We are both pretty tired.

Another day has passed, hope you have enjoyed the day!  I actually worked today, and will probably have to work some tomorrow.  I know that sounds like so much fun, try not to be jealous!

Hello Friday...

Do you ever feel taken advantage of?  Do you ever feel that you pour your heart and soul into something, and when it’s all said and done, no one values or cares about all that you have done?  It has been that kind of week…  I’m exhausted (I know that is nothing new), it has been a stressful couple of weeks.  I need a vacation, I need some time to think, I need some R&R in my life, I need a break, I just need to run and hide for a couple of days.  No one would miss me but this little one…

She has been all about her mama lately.  And anytime I leave to go to work, or anywhere out of her sight, she starts screaming and crying mama.    

We got a new vacuum cleaner today, and while that isn’t really exciting to me, it is for this little man…

For whatever reason, my baby boy loves to vacuum.  I don’t get it, but as long as I don’t have to do it, it’s all good!  He will make some lady very happy one day.  Too bad they will have to wait until he is 50!

Our floors get vacuumed everyday, just in case you were wondering...  

But let me tell you what I do love…

I love this little thing.  It is great on our tile floors.  Especially since my kids feed the floor more than they do themselves.  It makes picking up after dinner so much easier.  

I love when she sits like this...  I love these little feet!

My little bookworm...

Some days I’m just grumpy, irritable, frustrated on all LEVELS!  It’s just one of those days, where everything seems to get under my skin, and all I want to do is scream, and in some cases I have!  I should have worn a sign that said “stay away” or “talk to me at your own risk” or maybe “I will bite your head off, if spoken to”.  See, I’m not a pleasure to be around!  Maybe come tomorrow things will be a little better…  We shall see, but I would test the waters come tomorrow before getting too close, if you know what I mean!  Don’t just assume, I will be in a good mood.

Aww, I have a little bookworm on my hands…

 

Not really, all this little one wants to do is eat the books…

 

Yes, she makes a big mess taking all of the books out of the bookcase, to see which one taste better.  I don’t understand the love of paper.

 

I’m off to go dream about putting my feet up, and watching a girlie movie!  I say dream, because I won’t get to kick my feet up or watch a girlie movie!  Instead I will be picking up the kitchen/living room and chasing two little kids around, trying to get them ready for bed.  For me to finally have 10 minutes of maybe quiet time, before I go to bed and curl up next to this sweet baby little boy...

 

Glad tomorrow is Friday, how about you!?!

I love everything about you!  You’re my sweet angel!  Mama enjoyed our afternoon together!  Thank you for all the sweet hugs & kisses, and all the laughs we had together!  You crack your mama up!

The little girl and I got to enjoy time together this afternoon, while daddy and the little man got dirty outside doing yard work!  I think the kiddos enjoyed getting to have some one on one time this afternoon, it doesn't happen often.  Sometimes you just don't want to share, and it's nice when you don't have to.  The little man was all about being with his daddy.  And the yard looks very nice!  Daddy even got M his own yard gloves! 

It is storming, and I'm ready to go to bed.  I'm ready to visit dreamland.  For whatever reason, I have been extremely tired today, so night night!

A grumpy kinda Sunday...

This Sunday morning has been filled with a lot of this…

And a lot of this…

It is fair to say, we are a little grumpy today in this household!  There has been a lot of screaming, crying, and not wanting to share!

We have good days and bad days, and today I guess is going to fall under a bad day.

Baby boy, mama is ready for nap time too.

My house is a mess, I have a ton of laundry that needs to be done, a sink full of dishes that need to be cleaned, and I don't feel like doing anything, but being lazy!  But yet, I'm tired of looking at the mess, the clothes in the hamper, and the dishes in the sink.  I guess I can't win!  Does anyone want to come over and take care of my chores for me!?!  Yeah, I didn't think so...

A night out on the town...

Yes, we did go out last night, but I learned a few things last night about myself…

1)   I’m no longer cool.

2)   I’m pretty lame.

3)   I don’t like to drink, and can’t hold my liquor at all.

4)  Cigarette smoke makes me very sick.

5)   I’m way more comfortable in my own surroundings, meaning my home in my pajamas.
6)  But I do still enjoy people watching.  

When did this happen to me?  I use to enjoy going out and hanging with everyone, getting dressed up for a night out on the town.  Now, I would totally rather be at home with my husband and babies curled up on the couch watching cartoons, and the same cartoon over and over at that, than being out on the town.  
I was truly looking forward to an evening out with the husband, and I did enjoy having the one on one time with him, but when he asked me about going to the movies, I should have known he knew I wouldn’t being able hang with the people in the bar.  I ended up getting sick after one drink, and ended up having to call the evening short due to me getting sick.  I know, I’m a party animal!  Poor husband, he took the night off, to spend the evening pretty much on the couch by himself, while I was sick in bed.

Thank you honey for taking me out, I’m sorry your wife is so lame!

And I have pretty much slept the day away today…  Next time, the movies it is!  

I would like to know what happened to the once cool me, but maybe I wasn't as cool as I thought I once was!

A little overwhelmed...

I’m tired, that’s all there is to it!  I’m ready for this week to be over!  The past two days, I haven’t taken a break or a load off until after 9:00, both nights!  And you know you’re busy when you forget to go to the bathroom all day, and about the time you do remember, your stomach hurts so bad from a full bladder. Yeah, that has happened two days in a row.  Again, I’m ready for this week to be over!

At least the kiddos have been having fun, and apparently the husband had fun at the Mavs playoff game the other night too.  Why am I the only one not having fun!?!  I’m calling it a night.  I have another busy day at work tomorrow, so I need to try and give my brain some kind of rest.  I can honestly say I have been a little overwhelmed this week, and I think it takes a lot to overwhelm me!

This mama is going to bed!  Hoping tomorrow isn’t as long as the last two days have been!  It is Friday, so tomorrow is already looking better than today did.
