Two sick babies...

I’m exhausted, and I’ve been sucking snot out of my kiddos noses all night…  Both of my babies have running noses and have been coughing for the past few days.  The little girl had her daddy up with her most of the night, and the little man ended up in bed with us, after the husband finally got A back to bed.  And I have feeling we are going to have a repeat of last night.  The little girl has been crying out in her sleep for the past hour, that breaks my heart.  I hate when my babies are sick!

I’m calling it a night…  I need to try and get some sleep before A or M have me up most of the night.

Sure hope you two feel better come tomorrow!

What I Wore Wednesday...

Hello Wednesday!  I can’t believe we are already at the end of March…  This entire month has been a blur for me.  I also can’t believe how chilly it has been this week.  Last week, the sun was shining bright, and it was around 80 degrees…   This week, it is wet, cloudy and cold…  I’m ready for my sunshine to come back!

Ugh, grainy photos...

I have a question, I noticed yesterday that A was bleeding a little in her mouth, and then today, I looked over and she had a lot of blood coming out of her mouth, when the teeth come in, can that cause their gums to bleed?  I mean that makes sense and all, I just don’t remember M ever bleeding when he cut his teeth.  Everything has been so different with A, when it comes to teething.  Okay, let’s be honest, everything has been different with A, not just the teething…  Anyways, poor baby girl has had a rough go today.

I promise we feed our daughter, she just prefers her feet…  

I love this photo of the husband and my little angel!  She has her daddy wrapped around her finger!  I love to see him with her, he is so gentle with her.

My poor baby boy hasn’t felt good either today.  He was fine earlier, just a running nose and sneezing, so I just tied it to allergies, since it is that time of year.  But this evening he just hasn’t been himself, but I know when your allergies are acting up, it can cause you to feel crummy.  I hope that is all that it is...  Sweet boy, mama loves you! 

This morning the kiddos played so well together!  I was all excited because I got so really cute pictures, to only realize when I uploaded the pictures, I had the camera on the wrong setting.  Yeah, I wasn’t too happy about that!  Most of the pictures look really grainy!  Is there any way to fix this?

It was such a beautiful day, I truly wanted to take the kiddos to the park today, but I had laundry that had to be done, and I guess you can say I wasn’t on top of my game today either.  But I did get most of the laundry done, and the kitchen & living room cleaned.  I know, what and exciting Saturday!

What was I thinking Friday…

The husband is such a funny man…  No, he really is…  We laugh all the time, at each other mostly, but at least we are laughing with each other, even if it is at one of our expenses.

Last night we were in the backyard playing with the kids, because that is what parents do, ya know.  No more going out to dinner, or watching your favorite shows together…  Nope, we play in the backyard, and we LOVE every minute of it.   So, I was in the backyard in my jammies with my robe and flip flops on that didn't match, and the husband just had to take pictures, and as he is taking the pictures, he comes up with, What was I thinking Thursdays…  He is such a funny man, not to mention one lucky guy, see for yourself...

So here are my “What was I thinking” moments of the week…  And they aren’t related to the horrible pictures my husband took of me last night.

•   First, you know you need sleep, when your login at work has been the same since you started with the company almost 11 years ago, and you have a brain fart and forget your login.  And it wasn’t that I just forgot the login, I also proceeded to argue with the IT guy, that I knew my login, and that something was wrong with the system, because I had been using the same login, are you ready for it, almost 11 years!  Yeah, I felt like a loser when I found out I was so wrong after the scene I made.
•   Second, I was sending an email to a customer this week and in the middle of typing the email, I forgot how to spell AVERAGE, I was seriously stumped for 10 minutes, as I stared at my computer screen with I’m sure the most blank look ever on my face…  How do you forget to spell average…

• Then, to top my week off, I woke up from my nap on Wednesday, and walked outside to check the mail in a t-shirt & my panties…  I guess you can say I forgot that had I taken my pants off to take a nap.  Luckily for me, and our neighbors I felt a breeze between my legs when I walked outside and ran as fast as I could into the house hoping and praying no one saw…

I can’t believe I just admitted the last one!  I would love to hear what your “What was I thinking” moments of the week were.

The little man got to go tease the ducks again today…  Those poor ducks, they think this sweet little boy is going to feed them…  What a little stinker…

The little girl had fun at the park today…  Look at that precious face!  

    

Little man just had to run through the sprinklers…  Little man, you crack me up!

A evening full of meltdowns & tantrums, oh my...

Boy has it been a long evening…  The husband brought both of the kiddos up to my office today, since he had to be downtown for a meeting, and I still had work that I needed to finish before I could leave the office.  The kiddos were in pretty good moods for the most part.  The women at work entertained A while I finished what I needed to finish so we could get out of the office, which was really nice.  And of course A enjoyed being adored.  The little man pretty much stayed by my side, and really didn’t even make a sound.  Once we got home, we all got to enjoy a nap, we played outside, ate dinner together, and then something happened, not sure what, but both kiddos went into full meltdown mode!  I couldn’t get either of them to stop crying or throwing tantrums…  And the little man isn’t usually like this.  They are both finally in bed, and I’m so glad to finally have some peace & quiet… My ears needed a break from the screaming that M was doing tonight.  I feel bad for him, seriously nothing I gave him or did for him, would make him happy…  He would ask to watch Buzz, I would turn it on, and then he wanted Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so I switched it to Mickey Mouse, then he would start crying and screaming Buzz…  REALLY!  Please make-up your mind little man, we can’t watch both!  He didn’t want sissy or me to touch him.  And the final straw of the evening, he wanted his Toy Story pajamas, which they were’t clean, because he wore them the other night, and the little man just fall apart.  He was screaming Buzz, and wouldn’t let me put his other jammies on.  I would try putting his pants on, and he would take them off, same with the shirt…  I finally did get them on, after having to wrestle with him, but come tomorrow morning, they might not be on.  A nice afternoon with the kiddos quickly turned into a nightmare of an evening.

 As you can see, our afternoon was very nice.  The kiddos had fun playing outside…  Baby boy, mama doesn't like to see you this upset...  I hate that you had such a rough evening!

This little one, was all about her brothers mower…

I did get some good news this evening regarding my Nana!  She has been in a rehab center since the end of February, and it looks like she will be released come April 5th.  She is doing much better.  She will still have to go to adult daycare, but she will be able to return back home, and be amongst on own stuff.  She is eating better, and is now able to walk, with the help of walker on her own.  I am so relieved, that things turned around the way they did.  Back in February, things weren't good, and she was going down hill fast, but once they got the infections taken care of, got her on fluids, and put her in the rehab center, everything got better.  We don't fully know what is going to happen when she gets home.  She will still need a lot of help, but hopefully with her going to daycare, and us having someone come to the house to help out, we will be able to keep her at home, and out of a nursing home as long as possible.  

This mama is about to visit dreamland, probably not for long, since my precious angel will probably be up come midnight, but I will take what I can get right now...

Hello Wednesday and hello to you!  I can’t believe it is already Wednesday…  It’s a short week for me, since I took Monday off, and then I’m only working half a day today…  Sweet!  Now, I just need to figure out what the kiddos and I going to do this afternoon, and what we are going to eat for dinner…  I would love a nap, but that wouldn’t be fun for the kiddos, so we might end up at the park.  We will just have to see…

To the zoo we went...

The little man was excited to go to school this morning, my husband said they couldn’t get out of the house fast enough for the little man!  I have to say, I’m so happy and relieved that he adjusted so quickly…  This way, I don’t have to stress/obsess over my baby boy during the day.  I know he is in good hands, and I’m glad he is making new friends! 

Little man telling daddy, lets go!

Yesterday we had fun at the zoo!  We always have fun at the zoo, who doesn’t!  The jokes going back and forth most of the day between the husband & I, the little man getting to run around, sissy getting adored by mama all day, which I think is her favorite thing, besides curling up on mama's chest to go to sleep.  As it was a fun day, it was also exhausting and a little frustrating at times…  The little man is being a little boy, wanting to explore and have fun.  You can’t fault him for that, but he has gotten to where he doesn’t want to listen at times, and when were in a public area, that isn’t the time to take off running from mama & daddy, thinking we are playing chase and not listen to when we tell you to STOP, or COME HERE…  I know this is part of it, but this can really try your patience.  But YAY to family days!  This is the first year, in about three years that I have actual vacation time.  The past three years I have either been pregnant on bed rest, on maternity leave, or on medical leave.  So, with me having vacation time to use, I have it planned to take at least one three day weekend each month, for us to do something together as a family. With the husband working every weekend, we don’t usually get to do much as a family.  So YAY for vacation and us getting to have time together as a family!

The little man enjoyed getting to see all the animals…  Some more than others…

He got to enjoy playing with everything there was to play with, including all the vending machines…  Of all things, the vending machines…

But, he wasn’t crazy about feeding the birds, can you tell!?! 

We enjoyed the train ride…

Sissy really seemed to enjoy the train ride, or maybe she just really enjoyed being out of the stroller, or it could be she enjoyed being in mama’s arms…  That’s it, she enjoyed being in mama’s armsJ

After having mama & daddy chase him all over the zoo, he was worn out!  We were too, but someone had to drive home, while the other one tried to tell the driver how to drive…  After we left the zoo, we headed to Target to get some sand for the little man's sandbox he got last year for his birthday and for bubbles, you know because the little man loves bubbles… 

My sweet little angel got to enjoy having daddy all to herself today while bubba was at school, but all they did was sleep, I guess making up for being up all night…  So, I wonder what that is going to mean for mama tonight, since she slept all day!?!  See ya in a few hours sweet girl!  Mama would love it, if you would sleep through the night, pretty please…

Great way to enjoy the first of spring...

Happy 1^st Day of Spring!  Our family is enjoying a three day weekend, really it is mama that is enjoying the three day weekend!  But we are all getting to be together, so that's what is important!  Tomorrow we are going to the zoo, and I’m excited about that!  Sometime I’m a big kid at heart!  The kiddos have had a nice weekend, a lot of playing together, a little shopping, and getting to play outside.  The weather has been beautiful!  Great way to enjoy the first of spring!

The little girl finally had her third tooth break through the skin today!  Poor baby girl's mouth has been swollen the past few days, and has caused her a great deal of pain!  Glad the tooth finally came through, but we still have the fourth one that needs to come through, since they usually come in two’s.

We took the kiddos yesterday to Target!  I love Target, and thank goodness I only go to Target once a month!  All I needed was Milk, and baby food, but we came home with a lot more than just Milk and baby food!

This little one has been into everything today!  And all over her brother!

She wants to be doing everything that bubba is doing, which usually results in her pulling on her bubba, which is doesn't really like!  She is one strong little girl! 

The little man was glad to be outside today…  He truly loves to be outdoors.  Nice one on one time with the little man!

The husband & I are getting ready to enjoy a movie night...

She missed her mama...

This little angel sure was happy to see me this evening!  And mama was very happy to see her too!  I sure do love you little girl!  You have the sweetest little face!  I guess it is fair to say, this little one missed her mama today!

I’m going to go ahead and go out on a limb here, and say this little one is going to be into sports I believe…

She was playing with this golf club, most of the evening…

When she wasn’t playing with the golf club, she was playing with this ball…

She is truly following in her brother's footsteps. 

And this cute little boy, the one I love so very much, thinks it is funny to pick his nose, and then eat the booger.  He will come and show you the booger, then he will put it in his mouth, and just start laughing.  If he only knew, how gross this truly is!  I mean, it is really GROSS baby boy!  Please stop doing this, pretty please! 

Yes, I’m telling you the truth, it is gross!  I know it is hard to believe…

Oh I see, you don’t believe me…  A little snack before bed, yummy!

My angels are in bed, and that is where I need to be...  This sweet baby girl kepts looking at me, she is ready to have a warm body to cuddle up to.

He just wanted to sleep...

I will go ahead and say it, it has been a really long day!  Both kiddos kept the husband and me up most of the night.  And this time change has really kicked my butt this week!  Hopefully this weekend, we can all get back on track.
