And today she is...

And today my little angel is 6 months old!  Baby girl, we love you so much!  I’m so glad to have you in our life! 

This is an older picture; mommy is so bad about uploading pictures to the computer.  You are actually 4 months old in this picture.

What you are currently up to: 

v  You aren’t the best eater in town.  You don’t like oatmeal, at all.  You do like carrots, peas, and squash.  That’s about it.  Right now, you are only eating baby food once a day.  Mommy really needs to move it to twice a day…

v  You’re able to sit up for about 30-45 seconds on your own, before you fall over.  You’re getting there, I’m sure within the next week or so, you will have it down.

v  You’re about to start crawling.  You’re rocking back & forth on your knees right now, but I’m sure by the end of this month, you will be chasing your brother around the house.

v  You’re finally sleeping in your own room.  Baby girl, I didn’t think you were ever going to make it to your own bed.  Your daddy just didn’t want you that far away from us him.  Your daddy is totally smitten, when it comes to you!  But so your mommy! 

v  You’re still wearing some 3 month clothes, but you’re finally moving into 6 month clothes. You’re long, but pretty thin.  Not chunky at all.  I’m guessing you probably weigh around 15lbs. 

v  Man can you scream!   You definitely let us know when you aren’t happy.  Sometimes, you will try to copy the sounds that I make; it's really funny and of course cute.

v  You do not, like to ride in the car, you hate your car seat.  Makes for a long drive, anytime we go somewhere. 

v  You do seem to be teething.

v  For the most part, you are sleeping through the night.  But we still have a night or two during the week, which you will wake up, and try to get someone to entertain you.

v  You have no problem rolling all over the living room, grabbing your brother’s toys and trying to put them in your mouth.  Right now, you think everything goes in your mouth.

v  You love to cuddle, and be held.  You would be completely fine, if someone could hold you all day.

v  You’re not patient at all!  But nor is your daddy or mommy.
