***I realize I look pregnant here, but I'm not!  Just a little too much mexican food this week...
but getting to be apart of this, makes everything better, and helps me forget about the stresses of the day.

I'm how old...

As I sit in my bedroom watching the new season of Gossip Girl, yes I realize I’m 32 and watching Gossip Girl but I'm sure I'm not alone, my family has gone for a walk.  I have to say I’m a little sad about this, as I’m ever so happy Gossip Girl is on; I’m also recording it…  But due to my treatment today, I’m supposed to be on bed rest the next 24 hours.  I know what fun times, getting stuck in the back, and then getting to be laid up in bed, while your family goes on without you!  But I have to say, I was truly looking forward to this treatment.  I will take 75% of relief for 10 days, so that I can enjoy the next 10 days with my babies before I head down hill again, until my next treatment!  As usual though, my doctor decided to change things up today.  He now wants me to do physical therapy twice a day, working my foot & leg, until the treatment wears off, and then give my foot & leg a break (usually around 5 days) until I have another treatment, to start the physical therapy backup twice a day.  Not really looking forward to this, he told me that it was going to hurt, but I had to push through it.  I’m a little scared, and WHY couldn't we start with once a day and move our way up to twice a day!?!  I guess go big, or go home!  Guess I will be going home...  I knew it was coming, but the way my other doctor described it to me, it sounded like a day at the spa.  But today it sounded like I was enlisting for boot camp!  I think I will take the day at the spa, so I will be giving my other doctor a call tomorrow.  I mean who would pass up having someone bath you and give you a full body massage, for it all to be considered for medical reasons!?!  Yeah me either, sign me up please!
This past weekend ended up being really long, I mean LONG with two sick babies.  We were able to make it to my nephew’s birthday party on Saturday, but we (by we, I mean the kids & I, the husband went and partied on, in our place) had to skip out on the one on Sunday.

The little super hero's of the day!

Photobucket
My own sweet little super hero in action, before she got so sick...

My poor baby girl was throwing up most of yesterday, and had us up at 2 this morning.  So we are tired, and she is still sick.  Sweet girl, you don't need to lose anymore weight, I need you eating and keeping it down.  Not to mention mama really misses her wild child, I want to see your smile and hear your laugh!

Photobucket

We did enjoy watching Rio, twice, yesterday and did manager to dance around the house like birds.  I’m sure my neighbors probably think I’m a little weird and very loud, but at least my kiddos think I’m funny and love to be around me most of the time, or so I think!?!
Photobucket

Happy Monday, cheers to it almost being over.  I’m going to enjoy the rest of Gossip Girls, and feel like I’m in high school, or maybe college again, OMG!
Goodnight sweet angels!

Btw, I would LOVE a vote or TWO!

I want his energy...

I love to watch his facial expressions when he runs!
Photobucket
I want some of his energy now, PLEASE!

Photobucket

The last few evenings have been perfect, and we have tried to take advantage of going on family walks, the dogs included.
Photobucket

The little girl enjoyed getting to ride in the wagon; only a few times did she get a little vocal and tell me I was going the wrong way!  Honey, mama is always going the wrong way it seems...
Photobucket

We let her out, since I wasn’t doing a good enough job for her standards, so she showed me how it is done...  Daddy ended up coming to her rescue…
Photobucket

I’m glad it is Friday; I’m ready to have a few days off that don’t start with an alarm clock going off for an hour before I decide to roll out of bed.  I’m ready for family time, and getting to also spend some time with some friends on Sunday.

Just a normal day...

Just a normal day at our house…
Photobucket
***Look how grown up my little girl looks...

Photobucket

Have I mentioned before that my kiddos are just plain silly!?!

Photobucket

They get this from their father, I promise…
Photobucket
Last night we decided to enjoy the beautiful evening and go for a walk and let the kiddos play outside before bed… It started out as a good idea, but the little girl became a little grumpy towards the end…

Photobucket
My kiddos truly enjoy being outdoors…
Photobucket
And so does my husband…
This little girl wants to get her hands on my Chlo-Bear so bad, she can’t stand it…  And of course, I think my Chlo-Bear teases her!  A sees Chlo-Bear and she just screams and runs after her, but honey you don’t have a chance in you know what of catching mama’s kitty.

Photobucket
I’m hoping for a relaxing evening.  My body hurts, I’m tired, and have way too much on my mind right now!  I’m glad tomorrow is Thursday, that puts me two days closer to the weekend.

The amazing race...

Where did my weekend go!?!  I blinked, and here it is Monday!  We actually had a pretty busy weekend, and the next few weeks seem to be just as busy between bridal showers, birthday parties, and family get togethers, I don’t know when my body is going to get any rest.  Yesterday was a nice day, but very long…  My feet hit the ground running from the time I stepped out of bed (around 7:30) until I did a face plant in my bed at 9 something last night.  I actually fall asleep on the couch cuddling with my son, while he watched his cartoons before bed, but don’t tell him.  He thought I was watching the show too…  My body just can’t keep up with a 2 ½ year old, heck I can’t even keep up with a 32 year old either, but I’m right there with a 90 year old.  Give me a bed, TV and a book and I’m set to sleep all day.
Last night, or should I say late afternoon (that would be night for me), the husband and I joined a group of friends for a couple’s wedding shower.  I have to say, this was the best shower I have ever been too.  It was at Dave & Buster’s, and they had cake balls.  Who doesn’t like Dave & Buster’s or cake balls, so you can already tell by where the shower was being held and the cake balls, that it was going to be fun.  The husband and I have gone on a many a dates at the good ole Dave & Buster’s.  The theme was the Amazing Ball & Chain (I think); it was based off of the Amazing Race (which I had never seen before).  So here we are the husband and I (incase you were wondering who we was), ready to get this party started, I know the layout of this mall probably better than anyone, so we thought we had this in the bag.  But let me state to have something in the bag, you need to pay attention to the instructions or at least read the instructions.  So we're off, I’m taking pictures like crazy, we are marking off all the little silly things we had to do, we are sweating like crazy, my foot is killing me (but I kept going, I didn't let the pain stop us, no pain no gain), but we are so proud of ourselves.  We had the first challenge done, along with all the pictures we needed, all 17!  As the husband goes to drop off the first present, he notices that some people are already done.  I’m like “NO WAY”!  I continue to tell my husband, “THEY MUST NOT HAVE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS”!  So we continue to the next challenge, which I did great on, HIGH FIVE SHANNA, pat on the back and off we go to score another gift (I might have even done a little dance, maybe)!  The husband runs the gift back downstairs and comes back up to me and continues to tell me how even more people are finished.  AGAIN, I continue to say that is IMPOSSIBLE!  So we continue on doing the next two challenges.  As we get finished, we I learned that we were only supposed to have taken 5 PICTURES… NOT ALL 17, like we did…  GUESS WHO DIDN’T READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!  Yea that would be US!  But, because I always have a BUT, I was going by what someone told me, not pointing any fingers --->husband, I personally didn’t read the instructions, since he had the paper and was telling me what we needed to do, I just followed along (what does that tell you about me).  Next time, I'm in charge!  I will say, we did get some good photos that I hope will bring lots of laughter to the dear couple for many years!  But (because I have another one), we did make good timing getting all 17 photos, 4 challenges and gifts.  The husband and I ended up having a great time, and even though we didn't win first place playing the game, I did win the best prize, getting to spend one on one time with my love.  It has been a long time since we have been that silly together, so I truly enjoyed myself.  It was great getting to act like a kid last night, instead of a parent.  We lose track sometimes of who we are are to each other, since we are always in parent mode.  I think this happens to a lot of couples...
So, what have you learned from this…  Always read the instructions, don’t take your spouse’s word for it…  Honey I love you, and I’m glad for the time we had yesterday to be silly, laugh and hang-out together.  I miss our time together, more than you know!
So yeah, I’m exhausted after running up and down the mall yesterday.  Not to mention the kids and I went and had lunch with my family earlier in the day.  And since I’m a sucker, I took the kids to Toys "R" Us after lunch, because neither of my kids have enough toys, and decided to let the little man pick out pretty much whatever it was he wanted, since he has done an AWESOME job with potty training.  It has been a week and two days, and he is doing GREAT.  So, I ended up going a little overbroad at the store…  Especially since I went to Target Thursday and bought him three new toys.  I can’t help it; it’s in my blood to spoil my kids!
And I can't believe I didn't take one photo this weekend of my precious babies!  Shame on me, since I normally take 500...
Cheers to Monday almost being over, and me getting to see my bed in a few hours, and getting to be off my feet!

2 months to go...

This sweet baby boy is going to be THREE in two month…
My all time favorite photo of my baby boy!

I just can’t believe it.  His third birthday is going to be an emotional one for me.  I already get emotional just thinking about it.  My little man has grown up so much over the past year, it's amazing how much he has changed.  He is no longer a baby, he is now a little boy.  I’m one VERY proud mama, and one VERY blessed mama.  I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter, more considerate baby boy.  He is so laid back, he hardly every gets upsets or throws a tantrum(not saying he hasn't ever thrown one, he has and does, but not all the time). He says “Thank You”, “Please”, and “Sorry”  without having to be instructed, and gives tons of hugs and kisses, what more could you ask for!?!.  He loves his Mama, Dada, Sissy, BeeBee, Dar, Papa, and Nana(he loves everyone in our family, but he sees his BeeBee, Dar, Nana and Papa at least once a week). Family is very important to me us, and having a strong bond with our family is important, and the little man truly understands what that means.  He is the master at doing puzzles, the little man is already putting together 4-6 year old puzzles, he loves Thomas the Tank Engine and George.  He has gotten so much better with his words, and he amazes me everyday with new phrases.   Potty training has been a breeze for him.  I could go on and on, and on and on, and on and on…  But I think you get the idea.

I'm one VERY proud mama, that loves her baby boy more than life itself!  Sweet baby boy, please don't ever change, you're truly one of kind and perfect in every way in my book!

I can't believe my baby boy is wearing underwear...

Happy 34 months!  Just know when mama starts crying on your birthday, it's tears of joy, and the fact that I love you so very much!

Guess what we are doing...

Guess what we are doing…
Photobucket

Yep, we're potty training…
Photobucket

And we are fully stocked for this challenge…
Photobucket

We have started the motions of this process several times, but never really actually forced the issue.  Today, we are forcing the issue.  And I have to say, it has gone pretty well!  I have truly dreaded this.  That isn't true, I didn’t dread it until we had A, and the thought of having to potty train the little man, while having an newborn/infant on my hands, just stressed me out, so I have avoided the potty training thing like you wouldn't believe.  That is what happens when you let everyone tell you their horror stories.  You find every excuse in the world, to delay the process.
Photobucket

But today I have found the courage to take on the task of potty training!  Wish me us luck!
So, what have you been dreading that you need to do?
Happy Saturday, cheers to the little man doing so well on our first day of going to potty every 10-15 minutes!  Mama is very proud of you!

A morning from you know what...

My day started at 7:05 (really at 2:00, but we will get to that in a minute), an hour later than it should have.  No surprise there, I seriously just can’t get myself out of bed any earlier than 7:00…  And I walk into the bathroom, followed by my cat screaming at me because she is hungry, and my son saying mama, MAMA, M-A-M-A over and over and over again.  Can’t I have a moment to myself, please!  I look in the mirror to see stickers, in my hair, on my face and on my tee (AWESOME), this is what happens when you don’t want to argue with your son before bed because you are so stinking tired,  you let him go ahead and wear all 1900 stickers to bed.  WHAT WAS I THINKING, right I WASN’T!   And I guess I should have paid a little more attention, because it's kinda embarrassing hard to explain to someone why you have a Thomas the Tank Engine, a Race car, and whatever else kinda stickers in your hair, because you were too lazy to take a shower or even comb your hair this morning…  Yes, I seriously rolled out of bed, put my hair in a clip and walked out the door, I did wash my face and brush my teeth, but that is about it.  I want a break, does anyone want to give me one!?!  I know, I do this quite often.  The roll out of bed look works well for me, NOT!
My daughter had me up at 2:00 this morning, with her full blown screaming tantrum, jumping up and down in her bed, banging against the rail, MAMA…

Photobucket

Yes, I’m referring to this adorable little girl that I’m crazy about…  But really little one, it is 2:00 in the morning and I don't want to sound selfish, but I want to sleep.  She did this for about 45 minutes, so I finally caved and went to see what the fuss was all about, and of course when I walked in her room, she was fine.  But me, I wasn’t fine!  Leaning over the rail to rub her back for 20+ minutes kills my lower back, leaving me a little grumpy.  Since she was fine, I ended up walking out to let her put herself back to sleep.  Of course she continued to scream, jump and bang against the rail for another 30 minutes before she finally wore herself out I guess.  So, by the time she was done, it was around 4:00 in the morning.
I have a feeling, that by the end of this year I will have both kids sleeping in my bed.  So that means Chloe and I will be sleeping on the couch, since we won’t have room between daddy, bubba and sis.
Cheers to it being Thursday, tomorrow is Friday in case you didn’t know.  That means the weekend is right around the corner for me.  But I have a lot I need to do this weekend, and since I’m feeling lazy, I don’t really want to do any of it.  This is what my house has looked like for the past week, it seems…
Photobucket
Sometimes, actually all the time lately, I get tired of picking up and organizing everything all nice and neat for child 1 and child 2, to come right behind me and drag it all out again.  I have given up, you win!  My bed gets made twice a week, if that.  I see people giving house tours, and I’m like really!  How in the world do you keep your house so nice and orderly!?! It is impossible, unless you want to be like Mommie Dearest!  I have toys, shoes, dishes, clothes, etc… everywhere from the front door to the back.  Sometimes my OCD kicks in and I become crazy lady, and start telling the little man all kinds of crazy things if he doesn’t start putting his toys away!

Photobucket

But I have realized it doesn’t do me any good, and my child just looks at me like I’m insane.  We aren't dirty people, we just have a house that is truly lived in.  But I would enjoy a clean house, and I miss not having one, all the time sometimes.  So, do I have any takers, for coming over and cleaning my house, while I get to be lazy!?!  Yeah, I didn't think so...  Just thought I would put it out there...

Goodnight sweet angels!
